From a total of 194 beneficiaries, 81 gave up for various reasons, the main one being the dissemination of erroneous information about the objectives of the AVEC project and the expected results of its implementation, namely, to acquire and practice, the culture of savings and credit within a Village Savings and Loan Association.
After several sessions of rectification of the information and sensitization, 32 new postulants wished to join and engage consciously and freely in a AVEC.
We obtained approval from PCO-E to integrate them into the beneficiary database. |

Train beneficiaries in the AVEC methodology |

To the 113 beneficiaries who did not give up, were added 32 new applicants, now beneficiaries, who have been diligently following all the training courses on the AVEC methodology with the exception of the last module, which deals with the sharing of shares at the end first cycle (09 to 12 months). The latter module will be delivered if the BCP-E decides to close the first AVEC cycle based on the performance of the AVEC and the recommendations that ICA-CI has made. |

Accompany the AVEC throughout the first cycle |

100% |
All 08 WITH were accompanied. However, 03 WITH show reduced numbers to13 (Elibou 2 and Sokrogbo 1) and to 11 (Sokrogbo 2)
For 05 AVEC, we could close this first cycle at 09 months. For the others, however, whose number is significantly reduced, it would be advisable to extend it to 12 months. |
|
To evaluate the performance of AVEC after the first cycle |
08 |
08 |
100% |
At this stage of the process, an evaluation can be done because we will have reached 09 months of activities. For some AVEC with the penalty (03), an extension of 03 months to reach 12 months of operations, could be granted to them, in order to compensate for the delay which they accuse, without however blocking the evolution of those (05) which quickly understood the stakes and the challenges to overcome with AVEC. We evaluated all the 08 AVEC, even those (03) whose performances are limited. |
