BANGLADESH:

On 9 May we had a EGM extended from 1 May, and action planning on street children
and sidr orphan high school project and fundraising. EGM is again extended to 22
May.
TUC supported street children action plan is done and sidr will be done on
13 May. Fazle collected materials on children education and life skills from
Education Department on 10 May. These materials will be used for curriculum
development.
Fuad and Galib are working hard for the street children project. City
Councilor Niser Ahmed, Surjodoy Sangsad and local residents assisted us to start
our training from 2nd May. We are so grateful to them. Selina and Sarwat will
join the project in June.
Ripon, Aziz, Fuad and Kabir are working so hard for
NGO Bureau clearance. On 7 May, Ripon was made a signatory for Bank Account as
teasurer. Shamim visted Ghoramara community on 8 and 9 May and he collected
entrance gate letter from deputy commissioner. He also gave another letter asking for
permission for school building in the community.
Shamim's wedding party is
scheduled on 15 May in Chandpur.

Jo Nelson launched a series of workshops for Alberta Education on youth
leadership. She also facilitated a workshop with the faculty of George Brown
College in Canada and a planning workshop with the finance department of
Alberta Education.

Meetings That Work in Vancouver.
Bill Staples and associate Jerry Mings taught
Faciitating conciliation to a group fron the March of Dimes in Mississauga.
