On 16 December ICA Bangladesh team meeting was held at the Pacific Inn facilitated by Maria and Richard. Agenda were Review of past strategic plan and action plan for 2008 mainly. Twenty members and advsers were present in the meeting. Prof. Mahbub, Riaz, Miton and Nicolien from the Netherlands were among advisers. Nicolien sponsored the celebration dinner on this occasion. Maria and Richard has been supporting ICA Bangladesh from March 2007. They assisted us in training, planning and funding in different ways. This is the 2nd time they are in Bangladesh even in the same year. By this time we got a lot of things from them-second strategic plan, training on ToP, donation in cash and a note book raisied by them in Australia, in doing community workshop, and financing local travels and also purchased a printer for ICA Bangladesh.

Bill facilitated a strategic planning workshop with a hospital in Regina and the Community Care Access Centre in Mississauga. He taught another module in the community development series for local leader sponsored by United Way.

John Miller taught Group Facilitation to a Community Futures, a community economic development program, in Collingwood, Ontario.

Jo Nelson facilitated a strategic Planning retreat for peel Health Department. The group has several people trained in ToP methods so the workshops went very well and the group was able to go into substantial depth. She also facilitated an action planning review related to earlier work with the Cree School Board in Northern Quebec.

With best wishes for the festive season to all our readers...
We have been quite international over the past few weeks. Jonathan attended the ICA African Regional Meeting in Togo, then spent ten days in Ghana with Sightsavers International, before travelling to Zimbabwe to help facilitate a new strategic plan for ICAZim and to train some of their staff and volunteers on Group Facilitation Methods.

Martin has been busy completing a series of in-house contracts, attending the ICA Europe Interchange in Belgium, and finalising our Annual Report for 2006-2007

Amelia meanwhile has been taking the Youth Programme forward with a mixture of fundraising, delivery and preparation of events and Clare has been taking care of the office admin.

Next week we all meet for our final staff meeting of the year to review progress and plan the first quarter of 2008
