ICAI:
Location: Montreal
The team at ICAI has been working hard this week to accomplish a wide variety of
tasks set out in the Q4 work plan. The work plan itself was transferred from
innumerable cards on the sticky wall to a functional spreadsheet - thanks Katie
and Sarah - and was shared within the network.
Work progressed on a revised
operating budget for the rest of this year and we reviewed the 2008 conference
budget items with ICAJ.
A proposal for a forestry programme is nearing
completion and progress is being made in the areas of donor relations,
communications strategy and database management.
Michael took advantage of an
opportunity to meet Kumi Naidoo, the secretary general of CIVICUS a conference
partner, as Kumi had a brief visit to Montreal for a forum.
