On 27 April, the first faculty meeting in 2007 was held at Dhaka ICA office and the six faculties practised ORID. We are going to organize such meeting once in a month. Nicolien is going to join our next faculty meeting on 11 May.

On 28 April ICA Bangladesh members met Nicolien at her residence in Dhaka. Nicolien is from the Netherlands and has been working with ICA for a long time. For last few years she has been working in the Enbassy of the Netherlands in Afghanistan and Dhaka. Nicolien has been in Bangladesh for one year and she will be based in Dhaka two years more. We are very pleased to get her in Dhaka and we are really greatful to her for her generous support to ICA Bangladesh. She invited us for a dinner and to share about how we can get her assistance. Aziz, Selina, Alamgir, Shipon and Sahalam visted her on 28 April. Aziz presented her the planning docments of ICA Bangladesh. She is very kind enough to assist us in writing some proposals for ICA Bangladesh. We shared about our plans for MDG workshop, deforestration workshop and sub-continental gathering to be held later this year in Dhaka. It was a very successful meeting.

Aziz has stared inviting potential organizations for participating in the 2008 ICA Global Conference in Tokyo. In this connection some correspondence has been made with some NGOs like BRAC, and some Univerities.
