Popularity of ICA Nepal's training facilitation among Nepalese people
ICA
Nepal since its establishment has been providing the opportunity to the people
of different sectors to learn skill, knowledge and attitude and develop the
capacity to deal with hardships they are facing in their daily life. For this
purpose, training facilitation programmes are conducted as a public course or
in-house.
In this process we recently organised the training on Proposal writing
and fund raising and training of trainers on training and facilitation as a public
course. On the occasion, we trained 17 people on 'proposal writing and fund
raising' 19 on 'technology of participation' and 20 on 'training of trainers'.
It started from 10th January and will wind up on 23rd January of 2007.
ICA
staffs support training participants even during implementation of their
learning. There are different ways for providing such services like developing
proposal, exploring donors, planning process, report writing etc. Some NGOs have
succeeded getting funds and many of our training participants have received
either a better job or known as national level of trainer facilitator.
Participants attending the training on ToP in the central office of ICA Nepal |
Technology
of participation developed by ICAI has been attracting more and more people in
Nepal. People use the trainings with different purpose. Let us say, some use it
as an easy way to get job, some take it as better performance in their work and others
in the area of fund raising for their organization etc.
UNDP sometimes refers
people to visit ICA Nepal to attend the different types of capacity building
trainings. It is our policy to spend 30 of income for community development
activities in the rural areas. Donors also seek third party's contribution in
the project where they fund. Following this policy, ICA Nepal has been able to
move ahead neck and neck with other national level of NGOs in the
country
